For the recent Saturday Great Park workshop over 200 participants planted their containers with lettuce varieties. 
It's pretty amazing - Orange County Master Gardener volunteers conducted a class with donated supplies, resulting in a fun and healthy experience that will end up feeding hundreds of people.
No one can come close to conducting classes like this for so little cost.
Several people came up to me after the class and shared their gratitude.
