Listen Up To "Container Gardening" on In The Garden Radio

Container Gardening
This week on In the Garden with UC Master Gardeners, UC Master Gardener host Katrina Kirkeby talks to MG Teena Spindler and will discuss what it takes to grow your own garden plant material in containers.

This is a perfect topic for those of us who live in densely populated portions of Orange County and the surroundings or just don't have the property to grow even one full-sized orange tree!

From buckets, toilets, feed troughs, kettle grills, cowboy boots to baby shoes, anything with holes for drainage can work for planting. Edibles, succulents, fruit trees, anything! You can take notes for projects like “Salsa Pots”, “Bruschetta Pots” or any other fill-in-the-blank food-themed container garden that suits your fancy!
