In the Garden Radio has a program for you! Plumerias.
Plumerias! Maybe the most coveted of the tropical flowers grown in Southern California! More likely identified as Hawaiian as a favorite flower for leis, they are actually endemic to Mexico and Central America.

But any tropical environment in the world is ideal for the growing of Plumerias (aka Frangipani). This week on In the Garden with UC Master Gardeners, MG and host Bill Brooks talks with fellow Master Gardener Pennie Louwers and President of the South Coast Plumeria Society Jacki Kamphuis about how to grow plumerias.

All you need to know about the needs of the plants (water, temperature, soil, feeding, and propagation) to get you off and growing now in early spring – the perfect time to plant!
