It's the first week of Summer! You've been enjoying your beautiful roses all spring so now you want to know just how to keep them looking their best.
On the In the Garden with UC Master Gardeners show, today's topic is Summertime Roses. Beloved UC Master Gardener Ann Liu will talk with fellow MG and Rosarian Gail Rose Lam about what to focus on starting now when it comes to your prize roses.
Ann and Gail will cover watering (DEEP!), fertilizing (type and timing of), regular minor pruning (deadheading), and all the pests and diseases that will show up this time of year. Remember to MULCH now to help retain soil moisture.
