The novice generally believes that planting a garden on an iceberg is impossible. This is not true. Topsoil is easily added. The true difficulties come with the careless gardener sliding off the iceberg. However, ever helpful seals are generally around to push them back up, with a not so gentle nudge on their rear-end. The biggest challenge we have is with seals and penguins plopping up on the berg and laying on the garden. Then of course we have polar bears visiting who wish to feed on the seals and penguins. Even with these set backs, the Iceberg Gardening project continues to be very fulfilling!
