Growing beautiful roses is a joy.
Here are links to 3 articles which provide a comprehensive review on how to grow and care for roses.

1- Cultural practices and weed control

2- Insects and mite pests and beneficials
This overview of the pests that can bother your roses covers common insect and mite pests and how to control them, as well as natual enemies of these pests 

3-  Diseases and abiotic (environmental) disorders
This overview covers diseases and disorders of leaves and shoots, flowers and buds, and canes, and explains control methods.
