Lawn care, established, fertilizer burn

• If you just fertilized your lawn and stripes of green, white, or brown appear in the same patterns where the fertilizer was applied, it is likely that your lawn has fertilizer burn. 
  
  Prevention and management

  Follow the recommended fertilizer rate and frequency for your turf species. Make uniform applications. Do not apply fertilizers when leaves are wet, and be sure to water turf soon after fertilizer is applied.
