Family: Saxifragaceae

Description:  Compact evergreen perennials with pretty rounded leaves and delicate flowers atop

Sun: Shade or part sun

Water: Twice per month

Soil: Adaptable to most soils

Habit and form: Compact growth, forms clumps

Flower type & color: Small, bell-shaped flowers appear on slender stems rising 1-3 feet above the foliage; colors range from white to pink

Bloom season: Flowers in spring

Uses, if any, for plant and/or flowers: Good for groundcover and planting under trees; good in containers; flowers attract hummingbirds and other pollinators

Pruning time & method: Can divide clumps every 3-4 years in fall
