This workshop is the first in a series of four about growing fruits and vegetables at home.

Selecting a site with appropriate sun exposure, access to water, and good drainage is the first step in creating an edible garden.  The second step is preparing the soil to grow healthy, productive plants.  UC Master Gardeners will provide detailed information to complete these key steps for a successful and productive garden.
